We are looking for a Specialist: Asset Management System Support To support and ensure effectiveness of the overall Asset Management Strategy of the business, in terms of strategy implementation, standards and work management and to manage the physical asset module of SAP for the purpose of improving compliance to Asset Management practices.

Reporting to the Superintendent: Asset Management and working in a collaborative community, within the Asset Management team, you will be:
- Provide direction, support, training and coaching of key asset management practitioners, maintainers, production and Metallurgical personnel.
- Identify skill requirements and training needs of designated staff and facilitate development programs to address deficiencies.
- Utilize information obtained from assessments to compile training and advisory information.
- Conduct assessments of the maintenance process in designated areas identify deficiencies and facilitate appropriate corrective action together with operations.
- Actively participate in the development and continuous improvement of the Asset Management program
- Conduct assessments on the various aspects of the work management process to identify gaps to confirm poor work performance of equipment.
- Ensure conduct, application and execution of the support maintenance functions are in accordance with the established asset management programs.
- Support the development and optimization of maintenance programs toward achieving operational objectives and functions within the guidelines and standards included in the maintenance programme.

- Relevant N4 qualification
- SAP Super User
- Sound Asset Management Principles / Practices
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance planning and asset management environment, in a systems support and advising environment.
- In-depth knowledge on the procedures and process flows in SAP
- Electrical / Mechanical knowledge to conduct root cause analysis.
- Understanding the processes within RCM.
