Description

Vodacom Lesotho Legal is a professional and approachable legal team that facilitates the Vodacom Lesotho Mission by providing pragmatic, solutions-focused and innovative legal advice whilst at all times identifying and appropriately managing legal risk.
Specialist: Legal Contracts reports to Manager Legal Affairs, and will assist him in providing high quality legal support to Vodacom Lesotho.
You Will Be Responsible For
Modify the administration of contract management procedures as required to align with the changing business requirements and business model.
Ensure that all contract management procedures are implemented and adhered to by the various business functions.
Develop and maintain a legal risk universe for the company
Maintain an effective legal risk management system. Liaise with the relevant business departments to identify legal risk and develop strategies to manage and mitigate any legal risks
Advice Vodacom on litigation issues and to represent Vodacom in the Courts of Lesotho.
Prepare instructions to external counsel, liaise with external counsel on all pending matters and provide business with relevant periodic feedback.
Provide trainings and or guidelines to middle management on proper labour practices.
Provide legal support and guidance to the business on matters relating to employee relations, including provision of support and guidance in disciplinary cases.
Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions, prepare and provide advice to various business functions within Vodacom to minimize legal risk
It Would Be Nice if You have
LLB or equivalent from a recognized University
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leading organization
Telecommunications industry experience is an
Admitted advocate/attorney
