Closing Date: 18th January 2022
Reporting to the IT Manager, the role of the incumbent shall be to Manage and implement configurations changes of network switches, routers, firewalls for any changes that may be required as part of daily business activities.
Job Responsibility
- Ensure high availability of Enterprise network
- Maintain and ensure updated Cisco IPS and to ensure secure network
- Ensure that all Vodacom’s stores are connected and troubleshoot network related issues
- Ensure that all configuration changes are documented and all systems have Technical recovery plans
- Administration of Cisco ACS for Radius and Tacacs+ authentications
- Ensure that all network devices comply to Vodacom’s security hardening standards at all time
- Regularly review IT Firewall rules to improve network security
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or relevant tertiary qualification.
- Minimum of 2/3 years in Network Administration
- The following certifications would be advantageous:
- CCNA
- CCNA Security
- Firewall
- Cisco IPS
- Cisco VPN
