Role Purpose
To support the Manager with responsibility for Data Services IP Network Operations. This includes Creating Departmental strategy and Operational Framework
Key Accountabilities
- Develop the enterprise and core network architecture strategy and roadmaps
- Lead the engagement with the business to develop and document solutions for ISP requirements
- Ensure proper running of Internet Service Provision and National Transit (faults cleared in time, backups are done, KPI’s are met, network is monitored 24/7,etc)
- Execute policy compliance checks on all systems, provide reports and recommendations to Core Networks SNR. Manager
- Perform all internal and external audit reports and insure that all findings are resolved in the agreed time.
- Ensure all systems are Tested and Conform to BCM Annually
Competencies
- Cisco Certified Network Professional CCNP
- Knowledge of Open source (UNIX,Openstack,Opendaylight)
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems
- Knowledge of OSI Model
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors’ Degree Computer Engineering (B. Eng.)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional
- Vmware Certified Professional
