Specialist Investigations
Objective of the job:
Mercedes-Benz SA is looking for a Specialist Investigations to manage IRC department in terms of tip off investigations/business requests including reporting of strategic business risk management to Daimler AG in compliance to the Company’s Integrity Code and adherence of Laws governing the Country; and to inform superior about deviations.
Main Tasks:
Internal Investigation / Business Reviews. Plan, conduct and report on investigations and business reviews. Follow up on corrective actions.
Budget control. Monitoring of monthly overheads reports for Dealer Monitoring and Internal Risk Control. Ensure that the budget is not exceeded-where budget is exceeded; a variance is agreed with the manager prior to expenditure.
People Management. Managing, motivating, developing and empowering employees to optimise the achievement of the Department’s organisational goals and performance objectives in line with company policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
BRM/ Corporate Audit Issue Tracker. Follow up on DAG tool for closure of DAG audit findings timeously.
Business Risk Management. Facilitate process of risk management and reporting for Mercedes-Benz SA group of companies.
Management Reporting. Ensures that the management report is accurate and includes all relevant information and distributed within agreed timeframes.
Quarterly supplier assessment. Review adherence to SLA by security supplier.
Specific Knowledge and skills
- Proficient in interpreting evidence and reconstructing events.
- Ability to observe minute details and to produce detailed reports.
- Analytical and logical thinking.
Experience:
3-5 year experience a specialised field. Familiar with the SAPS processes and internal audit methodology.
