Description
The role of the Specialist Financial Systems is to ensure that ERP systems are available and functional at all times including all integrations to other systems and provide support to all relevant stakeholders regarding the functioning of these systems.
Job Responsibility
* Ensuring that all user access complies with Vodacom security policies;
* Apply Database patches and upgrades as necessary as defined by Patch management policy;
* Perform periodic performance checks for support capacity planning;
* Provide training or guidelines for the end users when necessary;
* Perform Month End and year-end processes with finance department;
* Document all relevant systems and implement a technical recovery procedure;
* Ensure that all relevant systems are backed up and restore test are done.
