What you’ll do


Reporting to the EHOD: Brand and Marketing, the Specialist: EBU and High Value is responsible for Developing & executing GTM plans for EBU and High Value Segments. Supporting Strategic segment campaigns, sponsorships, activations, and events for the Vodacom business and High Value Segment. As well as working in close partnership with relevant business units to deliver on business and marketing objectives.   
Key Accountabilities

  •  Support the EHOD: Brand and Marketing to build effective internal client relationship building with key business units
  • Coordinate, and support placement of content for electronic media, including TV, radio, multimedia, and new media platforms for new and existing Vodacom products and launches as and when required Manage acquisition, retention, and related expenditure of new & existing customer base
  • Execute on requirements for contracting of suppliers and outsourced services to the department for electronic and multimedia platforms, and ensuring proper and timely follow up on the supplier chain Drives active portfolio and lifecycle management of channel proposition
  • Supporting the administrative objectives of the business; on boarding of suppliers, raising of purchase orders, facilitation of invoice payments and contract process management
  • Provide inputs into analysis of competitor activity for key media platforms, and recommend proactive win-back/claw back actions for Vodacom Lesotho 

Competencies

  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing and advertising principles
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications and financial services industry – the market, customers, competitors, and service offerings strong commercial skills
  • Creativity, time management and problem solving

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Degree or Higher diploma or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising or related field 
  • At least 2-3years experience in Marketing & or Advertising for the services industry services, with experience of telecoms and financial services industries being a distinct advantage
