Reporting to the Privacy Manager, the incumbent shall assist management to discharge their responsibility to comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements on privacy and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) through the provision of compliance risk management services.
Job Responsibility
- Training employees and external partners on GDPR compliance requirements
- Conducting regular assessments and audits to ensure GDPR compliance
- Responding to data subjects to inform them about how their personal data is being used and what measures the company has put in place to protect their data
- Ensuring that data subjects’ access requests to personal data and/or deletion requests are fulfilled or responded to, as necessary.
- Inform, advise and issue recommendations to the company regarding compliance with data protection laws, primarily the Data Protection Act, the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) Programme, and Company policies and guidelines with respect to data protection;
- Identification of business processes, products, and systems that relate to personal data and are deemed in-scope for GDPR
Requirements
- Degree in Law, Compliance qualification an added advantage
- 2 year experience in the relevant field
