Specialist Business Management (Daimler Trucks & Buses and Mercedes-Benz Vans)
Objective of the job:
Daimler Trucks & Buses Southern Africa (DTBSA) Is looking for an incumbent to oversee, support, and strategically guide all performance measurement reporting utilizing an effective Business Management Reporting System. Responsible for Dealer Consultations, Dealer Bonus Scheme Policy and the timeous pay-out for the DTBSA Brand portfolio. This will be done in compliance with the Company’s Integrity Codes.
Main Tasks:
- Dealer Performance Analysis: Provide comparative financial reporting to dealer network and Brand Division. Determine and report on deviations to benchmarks. Make recommendations for improvement. Provide dealer intervention reports with performance tracking for concern dealers.

Dealer Financial Reports: Preparation of Dealer KPI Scorecard and distribution to relevant management and dealer network. Support in updating Dealer of the year files. Monthly reporting of dealer financial results to Brand Divisions & Mercedes-Benz Financial Services. Review and report trends. -
Dealer Financial Rewards: Preparation of calculation and payouts. Interpret & administer policy rules when calculating payouts. Draw up worksheets. Liaise with Brand Divisions for clarification & Dealers to resolve queries. Report to Internal Audit, Accounts and Brand Divisions in line with DOA. -
Global Business Management System (GBMS): System Management. Oversee Maintenance of system, Chart of Accounts & Dealer Management System to GBMS mapping. -
Ad hoc projects: Assist with ad hoc projects as and when requested. Provide timeous feedback to the relevant stakeholders on progress and/or completion. -
Continuous Improvement: To identify risks and opportunities, investigate the source and pro-actively address them or escalate to the relevant stakeholders. -
Engagement 4.0 & L2020: To actively support all related programs and projects within DTBSA, relating to Engagement 4.0 & L2020 topics
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

Financial Reporting principles
-
Computer Literacy: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, GBMS (Advantageous)

Automotive Industry (advantageous)
Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in specialized field
- Experience in automotive industry experience would be advantageous.
- Experience in customer relations
