One Power is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following positions:
Software Engineer
What you will do:
- Development of meter cloud services, which include backend systems, browser-based user applications, mobile money payment integration etc.
- Developing communication interfaces between smart meter hardware and backend software.
- Managing the company’s IT infrastructure (computers, tablets, phones, internet connections, productivity software, etc.)
Assisting generally with computer and software needs for all company teams. - Development and implementation of testing/validation procedures for new modules, software QA/QC. Documentation and internal reporting. Constant insurance of up-to-date documentation on Dropbox/Github.
- Working collaboratively with other engineering, technical, and non-technical staff
- Responsive adaptation of responsibilities as the team grows and projects roll out, to be guided by management and company needs.
Creating reports and giving presentations internally and externally - Using collaborative and organizational tools and techniques such as ToDoList, Whatsapp, Kumu, work breakdown structures, etc.
Exceptional level of organization, documentation, and timeliness in all work
Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree holder in IT and/ Software Engineering with at least 3 years of related work experience
