Healthiby is a wellness rewards solution that is looking for a special person with a special story to share with our participants and prospective participants.
We’re a startup that empowers and incentivizes people to prevent, better manage and reverse chronic conditions, like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
Today, we have participants who have achieved inspiring health changes and experienced health coaches that are guiding participants on their wellness journeys.
We are now looking for someone who can join our team on an hourly basis to engage prospective participants in a more personal way about making lifestyle changes and about Healthiby’s program.
We’re looking for someone who “has been there” – in the same position that many Americans are today, with a chronic condition diagnosis that puts them at risk for other health complications and facing, potentially, a lifetime of medications and/or insulin injections.
We are looking for someone who will empathize with “where” prospective participants are coming from and can speak from personal experience that “yes, it is possible to reverse type 2 diabetes.”
This individual will fill a unique and important role engaging prospective and current participants online about making health and wellness changes. Initially, this will be a contract-role, several hours a week, and it is ideal for someone who already has a full-time or part-time job, and is passionate about health and wellness.
Role responsibilities and requirements:
- Be an online ambassador for Healthiby on social media
- Create content to post regularly (videos, photos, images and text) both independently and in collaboration with Healthiby’s team (design support for images and videos)
- Respond to comments and questions from the online community, as relevant
- Must have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and then successfully reversed the condition
- Wants to share his/her personal health journey online
- Knowledgeable about evidence-based practices for preventing, managing or reversing chronic conditions
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Communicates authentically and respectfully, while also exhibiting a sense of humor
- Empathetic, positive and patient
- Professional and able to exercise good judgment
Prefer someone who is
- Has either social media, marketing, PR, writing, or other communications experience
- A natural story-teller
- Driven by a desire to help others improve their health and wellbeing
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Experienced at engaging diverse stakeholders
