SKI & SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTORS
Afriski Mountain Resort invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Ski & Snowboard Instructor at its site at Mahlasela Pass.
The Instructors will provide quality ski and snowboard instruction to groups and individuals in a safe and fun manner, while upholding all resort rules, regulations, and company guidelines. The role requires maintaining the highest levels of guest safety across varied terrain at high altitude and under changing winter weather conditions.
Job Responsibilities
You will:
• Assist with daily build‑up and pack‑down of the slopes and Ski School
• Provide group ski and snowboard lessons to beginners, lower‑intermediate, and advanced guests
• Assist Ski Patrol and participate in entertainment programmes
• Participate in ongoing training
Requirements
• High School Certificate / Grade 12 or international equivalent
• NZSIA / APSI / SAPUL / Snowline / Swiss Certification / BASI or equivalent
• Honest, reliable, conscientious, responsible, and disciplined
• Previous experience in teaching, coaching, or mentoring
• Previous ski instructor experience
• Experience working with both adults and children
