Position: SITE SERVICES SUPERVISOR (PATTERSON CU)
PURPOSE: To supervise, administer and arrange accommodation, and its maintenance, and meals for employees, contractors and visitors at Letšeng Mine. To coordinate arrangements for approved events as required. To allocate vehicles/ drivers to meet Let’seng Mine and its contractors’ needs.
MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Allocates duties and priorities, and follow-up to ensure work is completed to standard and assists in developing appropriate administrative policies and procedures.
• Trains new employees on site services activities and assesses employee performance through close checks and follow-ups, and takes appropriate corrective action.
• Initiates and /or receives accommodation requirements in consultation with departments and contractors and allocation of rooms as requested and advises accordingly.
• Compares planned versus actual site strength and reports variances and informs catering contractor of the daily numbers of people to be fed.
• Receive vehicle requests and coordinates and allocate vehicle/driver as required.
• Plays a linking/coordinating role to resolve accommodation queries and related matters.
• Receives accommodation maintenance requests from occupants and/or cleaners for necessary maintenance action.
• Initiates steps to maintain infrastructure and vehicles following appropriate procedures and ensures timeous maintenance of the camp equipment through liaison with e maintenance department and other service providers.
• Develops appropriate maintenance/inspection schedules and ensures plans are adhered to and follow-up and physically inspects to maintenance work has been completed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Diploma in Hospitality Management
• Light Vehicle Driver’s License
• 3 years in an accommodation and catering environment preferably in an administrative role.
