We are hiring immediately for a Site Mechanic based in LESOTHO – a role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need. To operate, maintain and repair Aggreko equipment as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards.

What you’ll do:
- To carry out ‘A’ service maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko generators
- To carry out major maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko generators
- To carry out systematic fault finding and repairs on mechanical equipment including DC control circuits.
- To carry out Aggreko ‘Health Checks’ and associated adjustments.
- To carry out procedural based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems
- To carry out ‘On the Job Training’ for service crew.
- To complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specifics.
- Operate the Aggreko service mobility system.
- To operate, diagnose Aggreko generator controllers.
- Assisting with the installation and demobilization of Aggreko equipment.
- To follow and comply with Aggreko QHSE standards.
- Adherence to 5S

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:
- +3 years minimum in similar role
- Good Communication skills – must be able to complete reports legibly.
- Effective troubleshooting capability.
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- Possession of driving license essential.
- Qualified artisan in accordance with local labor laws
- Must successfully complete ALL assessments in compliance with Gen Tech Mechanical requirements.
- The ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with Aggreko standards and local legislation.
- Must be capable of working in a restricted space and at heights up to 2.5 meters.
- Ability to work autonomously when required.
- Ability to coach and mentor.
- Ability to work shifts.
