Drill & Engineering Lesotho is currently looking for suitably qualified and competent Basotho nationals and non-Basotho to apply for the following position based at Liqhobong mine site;
POSITION: Site Manager X 1
JOB DESCRIPTION/ PURPOSE
To provide strategic direction to the engineering and production departments by managing, coordinating and controlling all activities ensuring effective use of resources.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 10 year’s experience as a Senior site manager/Operations Manager in an opencast mining environment.
A relevant management/leadership qualification in a mining environment
Opencast Mining blasting certificate and blasting experience minimum 5 years
Previous experience as a General Manager for drilling and blasting operations would be advantageous.
Computer literate
Pre-employment medical examination required

Knowledge of business, finance, and management principles
Knowledge and experience in production and Drilling processes and techniques
Knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices
Planning /organizing/ coordinating
