Job Summary
You will support effective project implementation by working directly with local partners and community members, while supervising Field Agents (FAs) to ensure the quality and fidelity of Savings and Internal Lending Communities (SILC) group formation and performance. The role involves coordinating field‑level project activities and events, strengthening FA technical and facilitation skills, and supporting their certification as Private Service Providers (PSPs).
You will oversee FA and PSP performance, organize certified PSPs into functional networks, and provide ongoing mentorship, quality assurance, and performance monitoring. Through strong service delivery and community engagement, you will help ensure that partner and community perspectives meaningfully inform project implementation, that best practices are consistently applied, and that SILC service delivery achieves sustainability, methodological compliance, and continuous improvement to benefit poor and vulnerable communities.
Roles and Key Responsibilities
- Promote the project and the PSP-SILC to community stakeholders
- Lead the recruitment process for field agents at the local level
- Train field agents
- Monitor, coach and provide feedback to FAs to develop their skills
- Ensure the quality of SILC groups through regular field visits and spot checks
- Organize and facilitate project events with local leaders, agents and groups, as needed
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of agent reporting
- Review data collection forms and MIS reports and take action to improve project performance
- Validate the amounts of stipends due to agents
- Certify and launch PSPs
- Organize and oversee PSP networks
Basic Qualifications
- Diploma
- Previous experience working with decentralized, community-based projects
- Previous experience with savings group programming helpful
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in one or more languages of the operating area
- Willingness to be based in the field and to travel long distances
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree a plus.

- Computer skills required.
- Observation, active listening and analysis skills with ability to make sound judgment
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups
- Proactive, results-oriented and service-oriented
Required Languages: List languages required to perform the job
Travel: include percentage of required travel, if applicable. Could be stated as Must be willing and able to travel up to 80 %.
