REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)
SHORT-TERM VEHICLE HIRE SERVICES
The Judiciary of the Kingdom of Lesotho invites Basotho nationals and service providers interested in providing vehicles on a short-term hire basis for institutional activities to register their vehicles with the Institution.
Purpose
The information collected through this RFI will be used to establish and maintain a database of potential Basotho vehicle-hire service providers for future short-term vehicle-hire requirements.
NB: This RFI is not a solicitation, tender, quotation request, or commitment to purchase or hire vehicles. Responding to this RFI does not guarantee an opportunity to participate in any subsequent procurement process.
Vehicle Requirements
1. Double Cab 4×4 Bakkies
- Model year 2022 or newer
- Mileage below 100,000 km
- Valid comprehensive insurance
- Canopy or tonneau cover
- Tow bar
2. Single Cab 4×4 Bakkies
- Model year 2022 or newer
- Mileage below 100,000 km
- Valid comprehensive insurance
- Tonneau cover
- Tow bar
3. 7-Seater People Movers
- Model year 2022 or newer
- Mileage below 100,000 km
- Valid comprehensive insurance
Required Documents
Interested service providers should submit the following documents to the Procurement Unit during working hours (09:00–16:00):
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Valid Trader’s Licence (for businesses)
- Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
- Vehicle Roadworthiness Certificate
- Copies of vehicle registration documents
- Copy of vehicle owner’s ID
