Job Title: Cashier/Shop Assistant
Perform a combination of shop assistant and cashier by ensuring that their department is neat, tidy and that the shelves are replenished with the right stock in the right place and always records and always secured
Shop Assistant
– Ensuring the shop floor is cleaned and adheres to Power Fashion housing keeping standards
– Pack or hang products in size order ensuring the price is visible
– Ensure the fitting rooms are neat and tidy and follow fitting room procedures
– Adhere to stock loss action plan to mitigate stock loss
– Report health and safety incidents to management
– Ensure the store is neat and tidy and adhere to visual merchandising standards
Cashier
– Correctly and accurately processing transactions at the Till Point
– Processing customer purchases
– Processing lay-by transactions and cancellations
– Correctly following cash-drop procedures
– Processing returns with manager’s authorisation
Qualifications and Requirements:
– Matric/Grade 12 (Mathematics an advantage)
– Previous experience as a Cashier in retail and as a Cashier
