The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) was set up to implement and operate that part of the LHWP that falls within the borders of Lesotho. LHDA is to embark on Phase II of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LHWP), a multi-billion-rand Phase involving large scale civil engineering and socio-environmental aspects. SHIFT ELECTRICAL C&P TECHNICIAN TRAINEE

JOB PURPOSE:
To conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, control, and protection equipment and plant associated with the LHWP’s facilities in a secure and reliable manner, in accordance with established operating plans, procedures, and rules
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with three (3) years in Control and Protection or related, in a similar environment
Essential Requirements of the post:
• Must be fully conversant with the operation of electrical, protection and control equipment in a hydro power station
