ICON CEMENT-TILE ADHESIVE – READY-MIX CONCRETE
REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) No ICL/2025/04/001/34T001/RFQ
Icon Cement Lesotho is requesting services for hiring (1) HORSE – 34 TON TRUCKS for the loading of Icon Cement products for Maseru and Hlotse depots for a period of 6 months. You are now invited to submit your quotation for DRY RATE PER LOAD with Taut liner trailers or flat deck trailers (with cover sails).
Loading Points:
- Johannesburg – Maseru
- Johannesburg – Hlotse
REQUIREMENTS
- Copy of Valid Relevant Traders’ License certified at source
- Copy of Valid relevant tax clearance certificate certified at source
- Copy of VAT registration certificate certified at source
Note: Only bidders with Truck Models from 2015 to 2025 and mileage not exceeding 600,000km qualify to participate in this RFQ.
- Drivers will be provided by the bidder and the bidder shall bear all costs incurred to keep the Truck loading documents (cross border) up to date and the Truck maintained.
- Tracker security should be installed on the Truck.
- Insurance covering both Truck and goods in transit.
Other Conditions of Supply:
- Award of contract: The client will award the contract to the bidder whose Quotation has been determined to be substantially responsive and has offered the most economically advantageous Quotation.
- The bidder whose quotation is accepted will be notified of the award of contract by the Client prior to the quotation validity period. The terms of acceptance will be incorporated in the contract. Detailed terms of reference will be shared with the shortlisted bidders before the contract award.

Submission of Quotations:
Soft copy PDF files should be submitted to this address: [email protected] on or before the 29th April 2025 at 16:30hrs. Late Quotations will not be accepted. It is entirely the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that its quotation is submitted on time to the correct address included.
Costs for Developing and Submitting the Quotations and Other Related Documents:
All costs related to the development and submission of quotations, receiving and sending of other documents involved shall be borne by the supplier, not Icon Cement Lesotho.
