Kero Creative – a growing, woman-owned startup based in Duluth, Minnesota – is seeking an independent, self-motivated SEO Specialist to join our small, collaborative team as an independent contractor.

As a hybrid marketing agency, we serve small to mid-sized businesses through brand development, which includes graphic design, web design/development, social media management, photography, videography and copywriting.

SEO Specialist Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan and execute SEO strategy for multiple brands
- Perform ongoing keyword and market research
- Write and implement SEO-enhanced copy
- Analyze and identify trends in data to refine SEO strategies and identify opportunities for improvement
- Partner with clients on brand development
- Collaborate with Kero Creative team members and contractors on internal and client projects
- Understand company and clients’ brands, products and/or services
SEO Specialist Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in content marketing and SEO
- Experience working in SEMrush
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
- Understanding of basic marketing principles
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Ability to work efficiently and independently from remote environments
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to explore new digital marketing tools and software while learning new skill sets
- Positive, laid-back attitude – we want work to be fun!
Job Type: Temporary
Salary: $30.00 to $40.00 /hour
