Job Description

Indri Digital seeks a full-time remote SEO Analyst to conduct keyword research, perform competitive analysis, track metrics, manage SEO audits, create lead link building strategies and be in the front line of the latest SEO trends and tools.

About You

You are looking for a mid-level full-time (8h/day, 40h/week) remote position and are excited about working with a high growth (50%+ YoY) global team (US, Europe, Asia) providing SEO services.

Well organized and detail-oriented, you pride yourself on proactively identifying ways to help the SEO Team, following your assigned tasks, all while displaying a friendly, can-do attitude and a good sense of humor. You’re adaptable to change and comfortable communicating across a team to clarify tasks and prioritize across the department. Data-entry is your friend and a day spent building and organizing data into a Google Spreadsheet or executing reports is a good day for you.

A quick learner with a high desire to learn, grow and adapt in an ever-changing industry, you’ll give training your full attention. As a team player, you understand that your work and support is essential to our success. Time management is a strength – you prioritize to meet deadlines, asking questions and communicating delays appropriately. Last but not least, you’re resourceful and able to work independently, staying focused and on-task in a remote work environment.

Role Overview

Under the direction of the SEO Manager and Lead SEO Coordinator, the SEO Analyst will work conducting keyword research using various tools and creating or reviewing reports or audits for new and existing clients. You will be responsible for tracking clients and competitors SEO metrics and sound the alarm for your team when things are going in the wrong direction. The SEO Analyst is expected to work according to priority and guidelines, paying great attention to detail, and staying within the deadlines provided to them- communicating any questions or impediments which may result in delays. We are looking for a proactive, well-organized person who can start a project and lead it to the end, following the deadlines.

Other tasks might include Analytics audits, helping, adding content on different sites, building or updating Google Docs or Sheets with specific required data or collaborate with other team members and help them to reach the global goals.

In this mid-level role, you will be provided with extensive training and continuing education to complete your tasks and a monthly learning plan with 90-day growth goals established with your manager.

Major Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research using various tools (like Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, Moz and others)
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps in our clients content or areas of improvement in our clients’ sites
  • Track important SEO metrics including organic traffic, organic keywords, domain rating, SEO health score, conversion rates and time spent on page
  • Manage or perform monthly SEO Audits and SEO Reports being sent to clients
  • Work with the team to build SEO case studies based on the data and results
  • Report on performance metrics comparing them to our SEO goals and benchmarking data
  • Perform Competitors Audits based on various metrics
  • Work with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Presentation)
  • Perform low-level WordPress tasks
  • Lead link building strategies and manage backlinks to build online authority using multiple services
  • Create or improve existing documentation, processes or checklists
  • Follow SEO trends and stay up-to-date with new tools and practices
  • Follow company and security guidelines

Skills

In addition to the traits detailed in “About You,” you possess:

  • Work experience (1-2 years) as an SEO Analyst or similar digital analyst role
  • Expertise in Google Analytics or other analytics tools
  • Expertise in Google Suite – Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive
  • Familiarity with keyword research and management tools
  • Understanding of ranking factors and search engine optimization practices
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Data Analysis or IT field is a plus
  • Solid written/spoken English language skills
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and perform
  • Confidence, punctuality, reliability, communication skills, teamwork, initiative, and organization

Additional Details:

IndriDigital is a 100% remote Company offering location flexibility (work-from-home) in a team-oriented environment. Team members are expected to attend once weekly team calls (scrums) at 8:30 AM EST (3:30 PM Romania Time/ 8:30 PM Asia time) and other occasional required calls (onboarding, training, reviews, planning). Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Disqualifiers:

  • Not being able to communicate complex ideas fluently in English is the primary disqualifier.
  • A disorganized person will not do well in this role as the team is counting on you to deliver the results on time.
  • Not being able to maintain a regular schedule (7-8 hours a day) with at least 4 hours overlapping with the rest of the team.
  • Each team member uses Hubstaff for time and activity tracking. This is required so if you have objections, this role is not for you.

Ramp Up: We have a learning culture, but you must bring your own passion for learning while we will support your continued growth and professional development with reading, courses, and trade shows (AWS, Google IO, etc.).

Best v. Average:

  • We need someone proactive, will do first and cycle forward quickly (100% perfect is the enemy), and be able to problem-solve proactively.
  • You are comfortable working with ambiguity. This role is fast-paced, fluid, and will frequently evolve based on customer input, strategy, and product priorities that you do not control.
  • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into the projects you work on is what you’re looking for.
