POSITION : SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER

RESPONSIBLE TO: PRINCIPAL TECHNICAL OFFICER (MECHANICAL)
MAIN DUTIES:
I. Maintenance of all mechanical plant at the airport including diesel
engines operating standby generators, water pumping and hydrant systems.
2. Minor maintenance of Civil Aviation Department vehicles fleet including servicing of these vehicles.
3. Organization of preventative maintenance systems for all mechanical plant and vehicles.
4. Liaison with stores office to ensure that adequate spares holdings are available.
5. Any other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Diploma in Motor Mechanical Engineering.
OR
2. COSC and Certificate in Motor Mechanics with at least five (5) years field experience.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
1. Successful completion of a formal course of instruction at a training
institute.
2. Experience in the maintenance of high powered diesel generators and water pumping systems.
