The Senior Specialist: Risk Review role is based within our Business Risk Business Unit
Role purpose:
Conduct risk assessments reviews of new products and services launched by Vodacom to ensure that all critical and high new business risks have been identified and mitigated before any product, service, promotion or campaign is launch with Vodacom.
To perform risk reviews using a consistent methodology on products, services, promotions and campaign for Vodacom and Vodacom Business.
To ensure that a risk prioritisation model is developed to evaluate high risks products.
To liaise with other Vodacom departments and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to ensure risk are identified and mitigation controls are implemented.
To assist in the development and implementation of the new business risk management strategy that aligns and supports the organisations strategy.
To create position papers with regards to risk management for the organisation.
Effectively pursue improvement opportunities while ensuring consistency across multiple functional areas.
To update appropriate risk exposure standards, guidelines and maintain the toolkit and risk database for products and services.
To perform research in the field of risk management and maintain expert knowledge within the field on current legislative, risks, technology and industry best practice.
To undertake other projects as required under the control of the Principal Specialist: Business risk management.
