Role Purpose 
Managing the Company’s Corporate Identity with regards to all Advertising, Communication, and Creative Design Elements; ensuring consistency in line with Vodacom & Vodafone Group Mandated Brand positioning and the Black Book.
Key Accountabilities

  • Develop Core Narratives document for Brand Communications to distinguish between Master Brand messaging, Commercial & Base Activation Campaign messaging – broken down by segment; HV/EBU, Youth and Mass.
  • Plan and execute on the priority brand campaigns and events, including the main brand, sub-brand, year-opening, spring and summer campaigns for the year to increase awareness and reputation of the brand and the company, focusing on priority market segments Develop and execute effective, measured digital marketing strategy for Vodacom’s commercial activities to drive better targeted advertising and new customer acquisition.
  • Ensure adoption of a full-proof creative project management tool to track all work briefed in and completed 
  • Provide brief analysis reports on each report, indicating areas of good performance for the brand, weak points, what could be causing the weaknesses, and strategies to address them

Competencies

  • knowledge of marketing, brand management and advertising principles
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications and financial services industry – the market, customers, competitors, and service offerings
  • Knowledge of advertising agency management and processes

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising, or Brand Management, PR and/or Communications.
  • 3 years Experience in marketing, brand management, and agency management for telecoms and financial services industries
