Remote Senior Software Engineer – Search Focused

- Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for Search technologies who is interested in a fully-remote position.
- This person will be responsible for building a next-generation search platform, exploring new ways to improve performance and relevance, and designing scalable systems.
- You will also get to utilize AWS Cloud Technologies heavily, as well as Kubernetes and Docker.
Technical Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
- Experience using Solr in building a large-scale search engine required
- Strong understanding of Java
- Experience utilizing AWS preferred
- Experience in Search performance and relevance is preferred
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
Compensation
- $150,000 – $175,000 based on professional experience and technical skills
