Job Description:

The Senior Recruitment Officer assists the Resourcing Manager in the development of the proactive sourcing processes to attract and maintain relationships online to proactively fill the talent pipeline. This includes designing sourcing strategies and process implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate, edit, publish, and share routine content on social media sites that builds meaningful connections and increases job seeker engagement.
  • Creates content and maintains the social media page- Life at UJ, to strengthen the employer brand, in line with Social Media Policy
  • Track and analyse analytics report to gain insight on traffic, demographics and effectiveness
  • Explores the new recruitment channels and gives recommendations to the Recruitment Manager
  • Advertise open positions to external professional networks, and social media sites
  • Mine LinkedIn for relevant CVs as per the Specification generated.
  • Drive on-going candidate pool development through continuous networking and pipelining, social media channels, internet mining, career fairs and headhunting.
  • Coordinating with HR Business Partners to define the position specifications
  • Quality assure and publish all adverts
  • Communicates via circular/twitter/Facebook all positions published and the closing dates
  • Monitor and liaise with service providers to ensure portal systems supports admin processes and procedures
  • Track and reconcile all accounts- MIE, Human Communications, etc.
  • Reports the progress on assigned job vacancies on the regular basis, as well as Time to Hire
  • To assist with Visa related documentation, complete employee forms and track Work Visa applications for newly appointed staff.
  • Maintain a database of applicants to be referred to in future (those found appointable, second candidates, etc.)
  • Communicate/ advise and where required provide training to HRBP’s on process and policy
  • Ensure compliance to Resourcing Policy
  • Ensure consistency of processes and methodologies
  • Identify outdated recruitment documentation and update where required
  • Attendance to development workshops and interventions as per agreed performance development plan (PDP)
  • Relevant Human Resources Qualification (NQF 6), with 3 to 5 years’ job-related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years Resourcing experience
  • Experience of stakeholder management
  • Experience with Social Media Recruitment
  • Experience in the administration of immigration documentations
