Tugela Mill
Senior Raw Materials Clerk ( P11 )
Sappi Tugela Mill requires a Senoir Raw Materials Clerk to ensure all equipment is delivered to the respective customers correctly and in the required condition and timeously and to be responsible and accountable for the efficient operation of the receiving and maintaining of all stock items.
This role reports into the Inventory Controller
The main responsibilities of this job are:
- Ensure all stocks are maintained at the required levels.
- Ensure all bulk orders are expedited and delivered at the required time.
- Create delivery notes, and sales documents for all sundry sales.
- Communicate with the production department on their requirements on a daily basis.
- Create purchase requisitions for all raw materials
- Inform suppliers to collect mini bulk containers
- Ensure consignment stock are delivered on time.
- Ensure correct reporting of bagasse received.
- Ensure machine clothing stock levels are maintained.
- Update and distribute Critical stocks.
- Ensure identifying information and delivery instructions at attached to containers
- Ensure raw material are received, issued and binned according to the inventory procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Ensure raw material stock count is done daily
- Ensure raw material stock counts are entered in the daily, weekly and monthly reports. Physical stocks to be balance to SAP stock balance.
- Ensure compliance to warehouse best practices
- Availibity after-hours should it be required
The ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification
- SAP Experience
- Minimum two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in Raw Materials control
