The Red Hat Global Services Business and Strategy team is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join us. In this role, you will work with the global Leadership team to guide programs related to associate experience and diversity and inclusion (D&I) within the Services team. You will work in close alignment with corporate efforts from the chief of staff, the People (HR) team, and existing D&I communities. You’ll need to have the ability to collaborate with and inspire associates across functional and hierarchical lines to turn talent into a competitive advantage for our associates and the business. You do not have to reside in the U.S. to apply to this role, but you should ideally be located in a time zone that will allow you to connect with key stakeholders.
Primary job responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement Services-specific programs and measures to promote positive associate experience, engagement, and a sense of belonging
- Own and manage Services-specific talent-related programs and initiatives outside the technical enablement like field leadership development and the introduction of Open Management Practices
- Guide global consistency in core talent processes and foundations like associate development, promotion processes, and role design for technical and other roles specific to Services
- Serve as a facilitator and communicator of wants, needs, concerns, and ideas from our associates to leadership in an effective and efficient way
- Work with Services managers to foster safe and inclusive environments where all associates can thrive
Required skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 8+ years of relevant program management experience
- Leadership skills and ability to achieve goals through persuasion, solid organizational insight, and forward-thinking approaches to talent management and associate experience
- Demonstrated cross-functional program management experience with an ability to inspire teams, guide stakeholders, and devise a strategy
- Outstanding internal and external communication skills and the ability to manage and inspire a fast-paced team around common goals
- Energetic and motivated to make an impact globally
- High level of interest in and good general knowledge of open source principles, Red Hat’s Global Services, and Red Hat’s D&I strategy
- Ability to embrace the Red Hat way and thrive in a fast-paced, meritocratic, and inclusive culture
