Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) is a USA based Organization with public health programs around the World. It creates a future of hope for children and families worldwide by eradicating pediatric AIDS, providing care and treatment for people with HIV and AIDS, and accelerating the discovery of new treatments for other serious and life- threatening pediatric illnesses. EGPAF’s work is funded through private donations, PEPFAR via the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Centres for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), Unitaid etc.
POSITION TITLE: Senior Procurement Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of procurement and supply chain management within EGPAF. This includes developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with EGPAF procurement policies and regulations, and achieving cost-efficiency and quality in all procurement activities.
The Senior Procurement Manager will play a key role in the organization’s financial performance and operational effectiveness.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an advantage
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management, with 5 years in a leadership or management role.
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Experience in procurement within International NGOs in health sector is highly desirable.
Understanding and experience with USG procurement and logistical regulations
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency un procurement software an Microsoft Office Suite
