𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐌𝐔𝐌 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒:
• A technical qualification in the civil engineering field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the concrete laboratory testing environment.
• Sound knowledge of concrete ready mix batch plant operations.
• Must know steam-injected and steam-cured fibre-reinforced concrete segments manufactured for tunnel lining.
• Previous experience working in a tunnel environment where lining is carried out with precast segments and shotcrete
• Previous experience working with international contractors will be an advantage.
𝐊𝐄𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒:
• Ensure that all testing equipment conforms to the requirements as per the testing standards and that all calibrations are in place.
• Inspect all grout, shotcrete and concrete mix design development for mix design acceptance.
• Confirm that all time-related testing is carried out as specified for shotcrete and concrete.
• Be present and approve concrete batch plant calibrations as well as the steam injection calibrations with each calibration.
• Ensure that the contractor strictly complies with all the parameters related to the manufacturing and curing of concrete tunnel lining segments as per the specification.
• Supervise the Material Laboratory Technologist and Material Inspectors.
• Submit weekly and monthly updated materials reports to the Laboratory Manager.
• Arrange and chair bi-weekly and monthly materials meetings.
• Attend monthly progress meetings.
