Requirements:
Applicants should possess:
- A Ph. D in Religious Studies or Science of Religion.
- University teaching experience of at least 10 years for Professor /Associate Professor and 6 years of teaching experience at tertiary level for a Senior Lecturer.
- Proven track record of research and publishing in the areas of Religious Studies/Science of Religion.
- Must have at least 10 journal articles published in reputable publishers and accredited journals for Professor/Associate Professor, and 6 for Senior Lecturer.
- An applicant must show a record of mentoring junior members of staff
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful applicant shall be expected to:
- Teach courses in Religious Studies at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
- Supervise the undergraduate scientific research projects.
- Supervise Ph.D. and M.A. Dissertations.
- Contribute to the development of the Department, the Faculty of Humanities and the National University of Lesotho at large.
- Engage in meaningful and productive community activities.
- Undertake any other duties as would be required by the Head of Department/ Dean of the Faculty.

Permanent and pensionable/ gratuitable for locals and a contract/gratuitable for Non-Locals.
