SENIOR LECTURER IN POLITICAL SCIENCE
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- The applicants must have Ph.D. degree in Political Science. Preference will be given to those specialising in the following sub-fields of political science: comparative politics, political theory, international relations, international political economy, and political sociology.
- Have at least six (6) years of teaching experience, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate learners at the University level,
- Have at least (3) publications in Refereed and Accredited Journals.
- Be already in a Senior Lecturer position at an equivalent institution of higher learning at the time of application.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be expected to: teach Political Science courses and supervise students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, engage in research, curriculum development, academic citizenship, community services activities, and perform any other duties assigned to him/her by the Head of Department from time to time.

Employment Type
This is a two-year contract position for expatriates, and a permanent and pensionable for locals on condition of passing two-year probation.
