Sr. HR Data Analyst

Location: Distributed, Global

Reporting into the Sr. Manager of People Analytics, you will be an integral member of the HR Analytics function. You will help bring our strategy to life and provide input and guidance along the way. You have experience building enterprise-wide critical HR metrics and dashboards to provide data to partners when they need it. You have a proven understanding of analytics and thoroughly enjoy sharing your insights.

What you will be doing

  • Act as an internal consultant to business collaborators and leaders throughout the company to guide decision making around our employees and the overall employee experience from pre-hire to exit
  • Lead projects involving quantitative and qualitative studies, statistical and analytical modeling, exploratory, prescriptive, and predictive analysis using large sets of structured and unstructured data, bringing together talent data with cross-functional and external data sources
  • Translate data into a visually compelling story for HR and other executives
  • Match operational and strategic business needs to analytical methodologies or technological solutions
  • Build analytical capability of HR business partners through mentorship, consultation, and training as the specialist on the selection of appropriate tools, the identification of drivers, trends, and proactive opportunities from the data.

What you will bring

  • 3 to 5 years of HR analytics experience or similar
  • Proven understanding of statistical processes and machine learning algorithms (regressions, ANOVA, LDA, NLP, etc.)
  • Proficiency in an analytical programming language (R/Python/Scala/Julia,etc.)
  • Proven understanding of Workday, Alteryx, and ServiceNow
  • Willingness to quickly adapt and learn new tools to deliver the end result
  • Strategic, critical problem solver who isn’t afraid to get into the weeds; real passion for problem solving
  • Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels of the organization, influence behavior, and lead change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • High degree of integrity and honesty; ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in sophisticated and sensitive situations.
  • A sense of humor and ability to roll with the punches definitely a plus.
