POSITION: Senior Human Resource Officer
DEPARTMENT: Marketing Strate
REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer
Overall Purpose of the Role
To lead the Human Resources function by developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with organisational goals. The Senior Human Resource Officer will oversee all aspects of human capital management including recruitment, talent development, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and organisational culture. This role plays a critical part in driving employee engagement, productivity, and a values-driven workplace.
Key Responsibilities
β Champion the company-wide HR strategy, aligning people, culture, and growth.
β Support business excellence through robust performance management systems.
β Embed a learning culture through innovative L&D initiatives.
β Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
β Lead performance management and support departmental improvements.
β Promote employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives.
β Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
β Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.
β Manage compensation, benefits, and rewards systems.
β Drive learning and development for staff capacity and succession planning.
β Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and systems.
β Provide HR reporting and insights to support decision-making.
β Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO/COO and senior leadership.

Required Qualifications and Experience
β Bachelorβs Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
β Minimum of 5 yearsβ HR generalist experience.
β Good knowledge of Lesotho Labour Laws and HR practices.
β Proven ability to lead engagement, growth, and transformation strategies.
β Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β Postgraduate Diploma or Honours Degree in HRM will be an added advantage.
