JOB TITLE : Senior Forward Planner

RESPONSIBLE TO : Chief Planner
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Chief Planner. The Senior Planner (Forward Planning) is responsible for the preparation and implementation of Development Plans within the City.
MAIN DUTIES:
a) To draw detailed plans as directed by the professional planners.
b) Contributes in the preparation, revision and implementation of the Maseru Development Plan.
c) Prepares layouts of residential, commercial as well as industrial estates.
d) Participates in developing land and planning policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
An appropriate, University degree in Urban and Regional Planning. A diploma in urban design and architecture will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
Five years (5) post graduate experience is a requirement.
