The SFO is responsible for contributing to the sound financial and grants management of Pact Lesotho.
Key Performance Areas:
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of journal entries, accounts reconciliation, processing of Financial transactions, and analysis of financial information
- Ensure that there is proper and complete supporting documentation for all payments and other accounting entries
- Undertake pre-award assessment procesd and ensure that local implementing partners have systems in place to manage grants awarded under LINKAGES Lesotho
- Assist with cost analysis of proposal and application budgets for cost realism
- Assist to convert proposal and application budgets into sub award financial report budget formart or payment and deliverable schedule
- Assist in review of grantee financial reports and providing feedback for appropriate corrective action
- Assist to track thr implementation of special Award Conditions that are included in each award agreement
- Develop and maintain tracking systems on other identified sub recipients compliance issues
Qualifications and Experience: - A minimum degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting or Administration
- A minimum 5 years experience in financial Management, with 2 years direct work experience in grants management and Administration.
- Experience in managing grants under USAID strongly preferred
