JOB SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Administration Officer, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing the smooth and effective running of the Registry. He/she is responsible for ensuring that all records in the registry are under safe custody.
MAIN DUTIES
1.1 Ensures that all the files in the registry are securely kept.
1.2 Oversees the registration of incoming and outgoing mail.
1.3 Ensures that the mails are treated properly according to classification.
1.4 Supervises all registry staff.
1.5 Recommends on-the-job training the registry staff.
1.6 Advises management on all matters relating to registry organization and control.
JOB SPECIFICATION
– Diploma in Public Administration/Public Management/Business Management or Studies plus two (2) years’ experience at the level of Executive Officer (Grade D).
OR
– Certificate in Public Administration/Public Management/Business Management or Studies plus two (3) years’ experience at the level of Executive Officer (Grade D).
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
– Knowledge of office (Registry) organization and structure.
– Knowledge of Government rules and regulations pertaining to the Registry.
– Knowledge of the Registry operations.
– Ability to communicate clearly in both spoken and written English and Sesotho.
– Ability to manage effectively both material and human resources.
