Remote Senior Business Analyst (JB626)
Location: Full time remote role for UK based company
Salary: £2 500 per month (R51 000)
Contract: 12 months with good possibility of renewalOur UK based client has staff in various territories on a full-time contractual basis in a remote capacity. Contracts are a minimum of 12 months and ongoing as their clients projects and development requirements evolve.
The current requirement is for a Senior Business Analyst to deliver business requirements through the production of user stories for our development teams, working for a top level client. The role requires an individual who has great attention to detail and can effectively prioritise and manage their own workload. The individual must be confident and able to take initiative in a delivery-focused environment and be independent, self-directing and able to collaborate with the SCRUM teams.
The role will require you to understand the customer/user base and their product requirements. Understand legislation-driven product requirements. Define user stories and acceptance criteria. Own user stories through the whole product life cycle . Participate in backlog refinement sessions to guide the teams towards solutions that meet customer/legislative requirements. Maintain product level backlogs Work within the SCRUM teams in a cross functional environment Able to act as a consultant for business analysts on other projects Able to lead a large project which may require contribution from multiple business analysts Able to mentor and assign tasks to other business analysts Management of more than one project at once, as well as complex projects Able to ensure business need and core requirements are fully understood for each project Able to define the minimum viable product and scope for a given release, as well as make suggestions as to where projects can be split and pushing for extensible, reusable solutions where possible Confidently able to give demos and presentations to a variety of audiences people
The company has a flat structure and there is direct contact with the client on daily standups and on slack, no middle-layer management in the way of communication.
Required Skills & Experience
- Excellent written communication skills with experience writing comprehensive, clear, well structured documentation
- Excellent verbal communication skills to a range of stakeholders
- Ability to define a problem and assist in solution identification
- Experience of agile methodologies and writing user stories given release, as well as make suggestions as to where projects can be split and pushing for extensible, reusable solutions where possible Confidently able to give demos and presentations to a variety of audiences people.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- A background in pensions or lifetime savings administration
- SIPP/SSAS knowledge
Additional information:
This is a full time contract. There will be a three month initial trial period to ensure all parties are happy with the role and the fit.

Remote only – Our client has never had and will never have an office
No time logging or tracking – just be available on Slack! You are free to interrupt your work if you need to sort out something as long as you don’t overdo it.
