The bi-national Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LHWP), a collaboration between the Kingdom of Lesotho (KOL) and the Republic of South Africa (RSA), aims to harness Lesotho’s highland water resources for mutual benefit. The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) is mandated to implement and operate the portion of the LHWP within Lesotho.
LHDA is embarking on Phase II of the LHWP—a multi-billion-rand initiative involving large-scale civil engineering and socio-environmental components. In fulfilling its mandate, LHDA upholds values of caring, professionalism, execution, teamwork, communication, and customer focus.

Available Positions
Senior Accountant – Fixed Assets
- Reference: HR/SA-FA/08/25
- Division: Finance Branch
- Grade: C4 (Paterson Grading System)
- Location: LHDA Tower, Maseru
Purpose: To facilitate the overall preparation, coordination, and maintenance of the LHDA Fixed Assets Register in accordance with International Accounting Standards (IAS).
Qualifications:
- B.Com (Accounting) Degree or General Accounting qualification or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in Fixed Assets management for a large or similar organization
