The Itekole Mentorship Platform under Selemela Learning Network is looking to engage tutors to provide individualized virtual tutoring and video recorded lessons for high school learners. We are currently looking for tutors in the following subjects Math, Science, English and Accounting but feel free to apply if you have other subject interests and we will keep your application for when relevant subject openings happen.
Selemela is a Lesotho-based social enterprise with an overall goal of bridging the gap between education theory and practice in Lesotho.
The Tutor will:
- Hold a degree in Education with a focus on the subject(s) you intent to tutor OR can show equivalent background in the subject (s)
- Be interested in working with high school students
- Be passionate about educating young people
- Be able to hold tutoring sessions virtually using platforms such as Google Classrooms, Google Meet, WhatsApp and others
- Have excellent communication skills
- Undergo virtual training prior to commencing the tutoring work.
Please note that this is a PART-TIME CONTRACTUAL POSITION that will entail the following:
- Data/Airtime for all virtual tutoring work
- Transportation costs cover for all Network related trips
- M40.00 per hour of tutoring or lesson recording
