Matlama Football Club is a soccer team registered with Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) and competing in the Lesotho Premier League. One of the requirements imposed by LeFA is that all participating teams must have Security Officer in their employment.
Matlama FC invites applications from suitably qualified members of the team for the position of Security Officer.
Purpose of the job:
Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will in charge of the general security requirements of the team.
Term of the contract
A two(2) years fixed contract
Qualifications and Experiences
- COSC/or equivalent
- Must be a registered card carrying member of the yeam for the 2021-2022 season
- Experience as a member of a disciplined forces/or in the security Cadre will be an added advantage
Key responsibilities :
The incumbent shall ensure that all matches, events abd functions of the team anywhere, security of the players, Executive committee members, patrons other officials of the team, supporters of the team, players of the visiting team(s), it’s executive members, officials and supporters, visiting dignitaries including LeFA, Premier League, CAF, FIFA, Government officials, as well as general public attending the teams matches, events and functions.
Knowledge and skills:
- Ability to identify and eliminate security risks
- Ability to act decisively under pressure
- Ability to manage crowds
- Strong negotiation skills
