Reports To: Branch Manager
Location: Thabong, Maseru
Position Overview
Goldwagen is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual for the position of Security Guard.
The successful candidate will ensure the protection of personnel, property, and assets by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling areas to prevent theft, violence, and related risks.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting regular safety checks and inspections of company buildings and equipment.
- Ensuring constant availability and visibility at the employer’s premises.
- Securing doors, windows, and access points after operations or at the end of shifts.
- Investigating disturbances and taking appropriate action, including apprehending or evicting violators when necessary.
- Communicating security threats and abnormalities to supervisors.
- Providing personal protection or escort services when required.
Minimum Requirements
- COSC/LGCSE Certificate
- 2–5 years of experience working as a security guard
- Ability to make quick decisions under pressure
