Lesotho Flour Mills, a leading FMCG company, is looking for a dynamic and pro-active individual in order to fill the position of Security Co-ordinator. The incumbent will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.
Key Performance Areas/Expected Outputs:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:
• Assist in the development and implementation of the overall security strategy of the Company
• Ensure that all security standards are adhered to
• Proactively respond to any perceived risks or security breaches
• Provide oversight on overall company security services
• Provide advice and guidance to management and staff on security issues
• Help align security functions, standards and philosophies with that of industry standards and best practices to ensure fit with the Company’s strategy and objectives;
• Co-ordinate the development and implementation of security policies, standards, forms and guidelines
• Liaise with external law enforcement agencies/organizations as is necessary in obtaining information and carrying-out joint intelligence operations
• Manage security contractor(s) on site in order to obtain maximum output and adherence to agreed scope of work
• Conduct daily inspections of the plant and premises
Qualifications Required:
• Diploma in Security Management, Policing or equivalent
• Three years experience in security management or criminal investigation
• Working knowledge of criminal and evidence procedures
• Good knowledge of security technologies

• Strong leadership skills and very innovative person
• Strong background in risk management and compliance
• Strong networking skills;
