Mometrix is an independent test preparation company that strives to provide every test-taker with the best possible tools to prepare for their exam. To accomplish this goal, we create study materials in a variety of formats to accommodate a wide range of learning styles.
Right now, we are looking for a freelance scriptwriter to create general math-related scripts for our educational videos. The position is remote, and work is assigned on a per-project basis. The schedule is flexible. Workloads of one script per week. Scriptwriting work is compensated at a rate of $0.10 per word with each script being approximately 1,000-1,500 words. Job Duties:
- Research subjects related to each script’s specific topic
- Write high quality, unique scripts for our educational videos
- Respond quickly to feedback and make necessary edits to your work
- Work with our project managers to ensure that your work meets specifications
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in mathematics
- Math education experience preferred
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Google Docs
