Savings for Transformation Facilitators (Matlameng, Pitseng, Koeneng, Sefikaneng, Rothe, Matelile, Mpharane & Mokotjomela)

Key Responsibilities:

Purpose of Position:
To ensure that the parents and guardians are financially included in the community development programs of World Vision, and have improved access to finance through establishment and monitoring of the saving for transformation groups.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Mobilize and form the Savings for Transformation (S4T) groups amongst the communities
  • Establish new savings for transformation groups
  • To mentor new and existing savings for transformation groups (S4T) in the savings for transformation model.
  • To train the savings for transformation (S4T) groups in line with S4T project model.
  • Ensure that the S4T groups adhere to the principles of project model.
  • To monitor the saving for transformation groups formation, saving, and share out process.
  • To collect data collection and capturing of the savings for transformation groups
  • To update of the MIS System on monthly bases for reporting


Knowledge, Skills and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/ Business Administration/Development Studies OR a related field in Social Sciences;
  • Experience in Savings for transformation promotion will be an added advantage;
  • The incumbent must have strong communication abilities (Fluency in Sesotho and English).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the communities.
  • Ability to engage with community-based groups;
  • Ability to facilitate and clearly convey information to diverse audiences;
  • Candidate must be a committed Christian who is able to stand above denominational diversities
  • Commitment and ability to inspire others to align with World Vision Core Values, Vision and Mission Statement in daily activities
