Management of medicines and medical items in Database
Update the database with any changes regarding local purchase i.e. checking that the database has only validated suppliers and manufacturers.
Ensure that medicines and medical items that are nearing their expiry date/shelf life are withdrawn both physically and electronically.
Ensure that stock inventories are performed regularly e.g. every three months and that irregularities are investigated and documented.
Ensure that electronic records are available for the reception, storage, quarantine, dispatch and incineration of medicines and medical items.
Representation and Oversight Roles
- REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:
Pharmacy Degree (essential)
Current and valid registration with SAPC
Wholesaler/ Distributer license or experience in obtaining WL desirable
At least 2 years’ related working experience
Experience in MSF or other NGOs in developing countries is desirable
Computer literacy
South African residents or holders of a valid South African work permit - JOB ADVANTAGES AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:
