SANCA Western Cape is a nonprofit Organisation specialising in prevention and outpatient services to substance abusers and their families and communities. Services are rendered by a multi-disciplinary team.
SANCA Western Cape seeks to appoint a Social Worker to be based in Western Cape.
This is a full time, 40 hours per week, position
The purpose of the position is to render prevention, early intervention and aftercare services, including group sessions, to substance users and their families suffering with addiction.
Requirements:
- BA Degree in Social Work
- Registration with the SACSSP
- Valid drivers’ licence essential
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English is essential
- Experience in the field of substance abuse an advantage
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Social Worker
