We’re looking for an exceptional individual to join our tech team as a Salesforce Developer. Our enterprise technology stack centers on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, with integrations to cloud business systems and our innovative EdTech product. We are building an enterprise application in support of a growth-stage startup, across marketing, sales, account management, finance, customer support, and global operations. We’re a small, diverse team with members on three continents, so remote collaboration is a critical skill.

What you’ll do:
- Work on business process automation projects to meet the requirements of contributors and stakeholders across marketing, sales, account management, finance, customer support, and global operations
- Work in both Classic and Lightning Experience
- Work on projects that may require front end Lightning Web Components, back end Apex coding, and/or API systems integrations
- Work on projects that may require declarative features like Process Builder and Flow
- Work on DevOps projects as we upgrade to the latest SFDX tooling and practices, and work within a dev sandbox and testing sandboxes as part of build/QA/deploy processes
- Collaborate daily with the whole team and third party developers/consultants
- Participate in regular discussions on how to improve team’s productivity and efficiency
- Serve as Salesforce technical liaison to web, mobile, and API product development teams
- Be an important contributor in higher-level discussions about architecture, infrastructure, design, technology choices, hiring, etc.
What makes you a great fit for this role:

- You have experience or interest in EdTech
- You have a deep understanding of and significant experience (more than two years) with the Force.com platform (including Apex batch processing, trigger architecture, governor limits, unit testing, and Salesforce APIs), Visualforce, and JavaScript/Lightning Web Components
- You have a deep understanding of the declarative capabilities of the Force.com platform, including logic in the model (formula fields, validation rules), Process Builder and Visual Flow
- You have significant general programming experience (at least five years)
- You LOVE to code and have a Github/StackOverflow/etc account that proves it!
- Bonus points for experience with: OwnBackup, DemandTools, Talend, Heroku Postgres
