POSITION: SALES PERSON
REQUIREMENTS
- High school certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Previous retail or sales experience is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assist customers and understand their needs.
- Ability to work toward sales targets.
- Basic cash-handling skills.
- Basic computer/POS (point-of-sale) skills.
- Good personal presentation and customer service.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Reliable, energetic and able to work as part of a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and assist customers.
- Explain products and make recommendations.
- Process sales and payments.
- Meet or exceed sales targets.
- Keep shelves and displays neat and well stocked.
- Handle customer questions and complaints professionally.
- Receive and check stock.
- Maintain a clean and organised store.
